About the Brand
Nuwa is an East-meets-West supplement brand inspired by traditional wisdom and modern science. Its first product, Nuwa Productivity, is the UK’s first letterbox-friendly daily supplement pack containing four capsules.
Developed with a leading UK biochemist, it is convenient and blends 15 premium ingredients in optimal dosages to support stress, energy, and focus - all without synthetic fillers, bulking agents, or added caffeine.
The brand name is inspired by the ancient Chinese goddess of creation and repair, 女媧 (nǚwā), representing Nuwa's mission and values of healing, compassion, and balance.
Meet the Founder
Lin spent a decade in corporate roles across M&A, Venture Capital, Tech Transformation, and Management Consulting before creating Nuwa.
During this time, she saw how difficult it was for people like her to achieve both ambition and wellbeing as mutual goals when toxic productivity and recurring burnout are normalised as part of modern work culture.

How She Started
After experiencing repeated burnout, Lin found healing in generations-old wellness practices passed down by her family, rooted in natural ingredients.
This inspired her to create Nuwa and share the effectiveness and importance of tapping into natural practices and ingredients to support balance and wellbeing amidst the demands of modern work and life.
What She Learned
Lin has learned that early-stage entrepreneurship is less about perfect plans and more about experimentation.
Many female founders from MBA or corporate backgrounds tend to overthink or over-plan, but real progress comes from doing.
Starting a business means letting go of perfectionism in favour of speed, proactive execution, and a mindset of testing and learning.
Expect to pivot (a lot) based on data and accept that you’ll deviate from your perfect PowerPoint plan - it’s all part of the journey.
